Birth Doula Support
Embark on your journey to parenthood with Light & Love. This is an exciting time and the pregnancy questions and concerns that come with preparing for birth are understandable. Light & Love is here to guide you by shining a LIGHT on the path to welcoming your little LOVE.
The "Labor of Love Basics" doula package provides pregnancy, labor and postpartum support. All of your pregnancy questions can be answered during the prenatal appointments and also by emailing or texting me any time that questions arise. You will also be preparing for birth and what to expect during labor at the prenatal visits by learning about labor and birth. You will practice comfort measures and be assisted with making a birth plan and planning for baby's arrival. The "Birth Prep" class is a childbirth education class that is included in this package. Dads-to-be are strongly encouraged to provide partner support and any other support people are welcome to attend. Labor doulas support the whole family! I will be on-call and available to you 24/7 starting at 36 weeks. As labor starts and progresses, I will arrive to support you at your request. I will attend your labor and birth and stay for the first newborn feeding. A postpartum visit will provide postpartum support and breastfeeding help.
If you live and are delivering within 1.5 hours of Morrow, Ohio then you are in my service area! This includes: Cincinnati, Dayton, Middletown, West Chester, Anderson, Montgomery, Washington Twp, Hamilton in Ohio and more even into Northern Kentucky!

Birth Prep Class
Light & Love provides comprehensive information to help you prepare for birth by understanding the birth process, creating a birth plan that aligns with your values, and feeling confident in your choices. Education is provided to give you all of the information that you need to make wise and informed decisions. This class will shine a LIGHT on your path as you prepare to welcome your little LOVE into the world! The "Birth Prep" class is offered in-person or virtual.. This class is available separately and is also included in all 3 of the available packages!
Prenatal & Postpartum Visits
Benefit from unwavering support, where your concerns are heard and validated. You will be equipped to advocate for your preferences. I can also assist you with practical ways to prepare yourself and your home for the birth of your little LOVE. I can walk beside you on this journey and shine a LIGHT on the path as you welcome your little LOVE into the world! The "Labor of Love" Package includes 2 prenatal visits to assist you with preparing for the birth of your baby. I will available to you throughout your pregnancy to answer any questions that arise! Enjoy peace of mind after your birth as well with postpartum doula support and and IBCLC lactation consultant. The "Labor of Love Basics" package includes 1 postpartum visit to assist you with postpartum recovery, newborn care and newborn feeding. The "Labor of Love & Breastfeeding Success" package and the "Labor of Love & Full Journey" packages include 4 postpartum visits.
